Il The 42-year-old from Terni who made his 12-year-old son snort cocaine two years ago will no longer be able to meet him or his younger brother.
The criminal case it ended three months ago with the sentencing of the 42-year-old to two years and four months for having made his youngest son sniff coke and now comes the one from civil court presided over by Monica Velletti, judge Marzia Di Bari.
Separation with charges against the man, who is locked up in Capanne prison and which he had also been sentenced to 3 years and 4 months for domestic abuse.
The two violent episodes of April 2021 and January 2022 took place in front of the terrified gaze of the couple’s minor children. It was one of them who called 112 asking for the intervention of the carabinieri to save the young mother beaten by her father, a 39-year-old man from Terni at the time.
«Today more than ever I feel like telling victims of violence to report – the victim told Il Messaggero after the sentence. There is no need to be afraid, when you rely on justice the results will come sooner or later”.
To the ex-husband now the civil court removed parental authority and imposed a ban on meeting the two minor children, entrusted exclusively to his mother, a 37 year old from Terni.

We are satisfied with the outcome although it must be clear that No one was looking for revenge. We just wanted justice. The lady and her children have suffered and are still suffering a lot for events that unfortunately leave their mark.”
The 12-year-old’s ordeal caused a national sensation. In June two years ago, he returned home and confided in his mother that he had tried the “magical” substance that his father had offered him.
The mother, already deeply affected by the abuse that had convinced her to report her partner, faced with her son’s insistence, decided to look into the matter further. He immediately took the boy for tests to ascertain whether he had actually taken cocaine, even though in his heart he continued to hope that the story was just the fruit of a child’s imagination.
The truth, the hardest one, came from the test report from the private laboratory which unfortunately confirmed that the 12 year old was positive for cocaine.
In these hours the final word, at least at a judicial level, on the sad story, with the civil sentence that causes the man’s parental authority to lapse.
“Justice has been done,” says the lawyer. Giacomo Marini who followed the victim in criminal proceedings. The pain and regret remains for what the children have suffered and I sincerely hope that this sad affair will not leave consequences in their lives.”
