I’m going Ligurian. Green light from theshareholders’ meeting on the financial statements of SAT Spaof which the Municipality of Vado Ligure holds the majority shareholding. The economic-financial document of the company for waste management in the Savona area, which obtained the in-house assignment of the service, closes the 2023 financial year with a net profit of 1.075 million euros.
During the year 2023 SAT has taken over the governance of the urban and environmental hygiene sector in 30 new municipalities in the province of Savonabringing the number of locations under management to 65.
In relation to the strengthening of the service implemented in various local areas, the public company’s employees also grew, going from 301 to 501 units“making SAT Spa one of the companies in the province of Savona with the highest number of workers overall” highlighted the Mayor of Vado Ligure Fabio Gilardi.
“Furthermore, in the next few weeks a working table will be launched between members and the Province to define the next actions in order to achieve optimal conditions of efficiency for the pursuit of its mission, with investments and further improvement of the service” added the mayor of Vada.
And in recent weeks there has been no shortage of other moments of discussion right at Palazzo Nervi, in particular with the new Valbormide municipalities managed by SAT: others meetings are and will then be functional to finalize the details on the service in the individual locations.
“The goal is to realize the industrial plan established for the sector and define a modern and virtuous waste cycle in the provincial territory, which is to the advantage of the communities and of the users themselves in terms of tariffs” he concludes.
