Tents. Telti is preparing to welcome thousands of visitors and tourists for the 29th edition of the Myrtle Festival, which will be held on 9, 10 and 11 August 2024. This event, now a consolidated tradition, has become a point of reference for myrtle admirers and its many applications. Born twenty-nine years ago, the Myrtle Festival has been able to grow and renew itself, keeping alive the interest and enthusiasm of visitors from all over the island and beyond.

Every year, the festival offers a unique experience, full of surprises and novelties. In recent years, the Sagra del Mirto has achieved important goals. In 2021, it was the first anti-COVID festival with a mandatory Green Pass and completely plastic-free, demonstrating a concrete commitment to the environment. In 2022, the event strengthened its tourist value, attracting a significant number of exhibitors and including the prestigious Mont’e Prama photography exhibition. The 2023 edition saw the participation of over 25,000 visitors, with 100,000 interactions on the festival’s social page. The event hosted 10 refreshment points and 30 exhibitors including artisans and agri-food producers, with 100 websites, both generalist and sector-specific, which told and promoted the festival.

This year, the Proloco volunteers, led by president Marilena Suelzu, are already working to prepare a program that meets visitors’ expectations. The collaboration with the municipal administration of Telti and with the councilor Matteo Sanna is essential to guarantee the success of the event. This edition also promises to offer unforgettable experiences. Visitors will be able to discover the many applications of myrtle, participate in tastings and purchase typical local products.

The event will be enriched by shows, exhibitions and cultural activities, making the Myrtle Festival a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the tradition and culture of Telti. Don’t forget to mark the dates on the calendar: 9, 10 and 11 August 2024. An unmissable event for all lovers of myrtle and Sardinian tradition.
