Security, League: ‘Over 130 reinforcements for surveillance in Calabria’

Rome – “The work of the League continues in the Government to ensure ever greater safety for citizens: in addition to the 4800 new law enforcement operators throughout Italy, for a total of over 7000 in the summer period, 135 units have been assigned to Calabria more between the Police, Carabinieri and Guardia di Finanza, in support of the police forces already present in the area”. This was announced in a note from the Calabria League.

As part of the plan to strengthen summer surveillance services that will start next July 1, the assignment for the provinces of Cosenza, Catanzaro, Reggio Calabria, Crotone and Vibo Valentia of an inter-force quota between Police, Carabinieri and Guardia di Finanza to support the Law Enforcement Forces already present in the territory is a concrete sign of attention that the Viminale reserves for our Region and for which we thank Minister Matteo Piantedosi and Undersecretary Nicola Molteni. The agents will be at the disposal of the Prefects of the provincial capitals, who will identify the most appropriate placement in relation to the critical issues that have emerged in the territories. Once again, the executive and the League in government have demonstrated with facts that the protection of the safety and security of citizens represents an absolute priority”, so in a note the coordinator of the League in Calabria, Giacomo Saccomanno.
