Starting from Monday 1st July, the new company regulation for car access within the premises of the Novara university hospital will come into force.
The regulation has been updated to take into account the increased influx of users and employees and to guarantee better safety standards. It is forbidden for anyone to park outside the spaces provided by the horizontal signs. The spaces marked on the ground are designed to allow the transit of emergency vehicles in the event of an emergency.
Access by vehicle to the area of the headquarters and branch offices is permitted only for the time strictly necessary to carry out one’s duties, for the following categories of people and vehicles.
Headquarters – driveway entrance on Largo Bellini in Novara:
- shift employees from 8pm to 10.30pm with departure at 8am and on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays. Park in the spaces marked with white stripes;
- employees available from 4pm. Parking in the spaces marked with white lines;
- vehicles with disabled people on board, equipped with a special card issued by the Municipality. Park in the spaces marked with yellow lines;
- vehicles with the presence of non-self-sufficient patients with a prescription issued by the manager of the structure or service concerned. Park in the spaces marked with white stripes;
- vehicles with pregnant women or children under 1 year old. Stop in the spaces marked with pink;
- vehicles of voluntary associations transporting patients, who must use the white spaces;
- cars that need to pick up particularly fragile patients being discharged. Parking in designated green spaces for a maximum of 30 minutes;
- cars that carry out access/exit of patients with serious walking difficulties, only for the time of unloading/loading the patient;
- cars of the members of the general management (general director, administrative director and health director) and members of the board of auditors;
- employee motorbikes, motorcycles and scooters.
Headquarters – entrance on via Solaroli in Novara:
- shift workers starting from 2pm.
Headquarters in viale piazza d’Armi 1 in Novara and hospital headquarters in Galliate:
- employees who perform work activities exclusively during service hours or on-call hours, equipped with a special permit. Parking in spaces marked with white lines;
- vehicles with disabled people on board, equipped with a special card issued by the Municipality. Park in the spaces marked with yellow lines;
- vehicles of patients and voluntary associations. Stop in the white spaces.
- employee motorbikes, motorcycles and scooters.
The following are not allowed to enter the company premises by car: scholarship holders, interns, university students, postgraduates, employees of companies that work in hospital facilities, scientific representatives, suppliers who do not deliver goods, volunteers. All vehicles parked illegally or without access authorization will be towed.
