Foligno, 28 January 2024 – The agents of the State Police of the PS Commissariat of Foligno, following a call to the Single European Emergency Number, intervened in a house in the city where they arrested a young Tunisian citizen, born in 2001 , burdened by police records, for the crime of aggravated housebreaking.
Specifically, the 23-year-old, in a state of alteration due to the abuse of alcohol and drugs, after having insistently telephoned an acquaintance of his without receiving an answer, went to her house, addressing insults and threats and violently hitting the door. of entry, circumstances which led the woman to request the help of the State Police.
Not satisfied, the man then climbed onto the parapet of the window and, after breaking the glass, entered the house.
The police, who had arrived in the meantime, found him still inside the apartment, in pain due to the injuries he had suffered during the break-in.
After requesting the intervention of health personnel for the treatment of the case, the officers questioned the woman about the incident, who reported that the 23-year-old had made advances towards her and, when she was visibly refused, had started calling her insistently until the last episode.
Taken to the police station for routine activities, the man was arrested for the crime of aggravated violation of domicile and, by order of the Judicial Authority of the Public Prosecutor’s Office at the Court of Spoleto, held in the security cells pending the validation hearing.
The suspect must be presumed innocent until finally convicted.
