Arezzo, 28 June 2024 – Everything is ready for Summer Aperitif in the Fortress in Arezzo after the postponement due to bad weather. On Tuesday 2 July the gates will open at 6:00 pm, shortly before the ribbon cutting scheduled for 7:30 pm on the lawn of the Medici fortification that will officially inaugurate the great summer event promoted by Confcommercio of the provinces of Florence and Arezzo, with the support of the Tuscany Region, the patronage of the Municipality of Arezzo, the Arezzo-Siena Chamber of Commerce, and the technical collaboration of the Guido d’Arezzo Foundation.
The fifth stage of the twelfth edition of Toscana Arcobaleno d’Estate, an event that celebrates the start of the summer with a tour of events that involves the entire region, will see from 6pm to 11pm a riot of gastronomic offers presented by the best restaurateurs, pastry chefs and bartenders from Arezzo.
In the fortress you can taste traditional dishes such as warm focaccia with mortadella or raw ham, casarecce with octopus ragù, Fassona tartare and roast beef, to exotic options such as vegetarian currymadras and salmon temaki, up to gluten-free specialties for celiacs.
A menu designed to enhance the flavors of Tuscan tradition, and not only, in a setting of conviviality and beauty. During the evening the spaces of the fortress will be open for guided tours in three time slots (19, 20 and 21), with the possibility of booking through Confguide Arezzo. In addition, each participant will receive a free coupon to visit the Casa Museo Ivan Bruschi in Corso Italia.
