Ragusa – The Palermo manager Angelo Aliquò has been appointed general director of the San Camillo Hospital in Rome.
After the experience gained in Piazza Ziino, alongside councilor Massimo Russo, as member and then coordinator of the technical secretariat of the Regional Health Department, the Palermo manager, in 2012, was appointed general director of the ASP of Ragusa . In 2014 he moved to the management of Seus. A year later he was appointed Extraordinary Commissioner of the Bonino Pulejo of Messina, where he remained for three years. 2018 is coming and it’s time for new appointments at the top of Sicilian healthcare. Among the general managers for whom a “promotion” is expected, by virtue of the results obtained during previous assignments, there is also the name of Aliquò. In fact, his name is among the confirmed general managers, but there is no “category jump”. Aliquò returns to the Asp of Ragusa, where he will remain for 4 years. In June 2022, he won the selection as the new General Director of the ASP of Frosinone, resigned from the top management of the ASP of Ragusa and flew to Ciociaria. “Cu nesci arrinesci” he says to himself. And this is where Aliquò’s career takes off. Within 2 years he went from managing a provincial ASP to managing one of the most renowned Italian hospitals: the “Spallanzani” National Institute of Infectious Diseases and then, today’s news, landing as general director , at San Camillo in Rome, one of the largest hospitals in Italy with over a thousand beds.
