On the occasion of the 250th anniversary of the foundation of the Guardia di Finanza, the Provincial Command of Parma planted 250 plants intended for the well-being of the community in the barracks of Parma and its province.
At the end of this initiative, in the presence of the Mayor, Prof. Michele Guerra, of the Prefect, Dr. Antonio Lucio Garufi and the Councilor for Public Works and Legality, Prof. Francesco De Vanna, a panel was discovered completely made up of recyclable material bearing the logo, motto and graphic elements created for the anniversary by the General Command of the Corps, surrounded by plants and flowers, in the roundabout of Piazzale Risorgimento, behind the Casino Petitot.

The initiative, in addition to celebrating the event that occurs in 2024, highlights the impetus of sustainability and ecological sensitivity that the Guardia di Finanza has given to its activity in recent years, paying attention not only to the protection of legality, to promote the development of an increasingly fair and economically healthy society, but also to the issues of sustainability and environmental protection.
“The challenge” – Colonel Capezzuto said on the occasion of the unveiling of the panel – “lies in making our daily contribution to safeguarding and protecting the social and environmental context in which we live. Economic development and environmental sustainability represent a combination that cannot remain abstract and that must be translated into concrete commitments”.
