There will be another professional football team that will play in the province of Varese. The news is certainly not new: for weeks in fact the “Chinetti” sports center in Solbiate Arno is undergoing a renovation to be able to host the internal matches of the 2024-2025 championship Milan Under 23.
And from today – Thursday 27 June – the Federal Council of the FIGC has ratified the failure to register Ancona among the Lega Pro teams, thus leaving space for the second Rossoneri team which will play its home games in Solbiate Arno, a few kilometres from Carnago and Milanese, a strategic point for the club.
The Milanese club welcomed the news from the FIGC with a post in which it revealed the name of the team: MilanFuture.
Daniele Bonera will coach the team while there is curiosity to understand how the lineup will be made up. It is possible that there are several talents coming from the Rossoneri’s academy, from Bustocco Kevin Zeroli – captain of the Primavera last year -, to the Varese player born in 2007 Lorenzo Ossola e all’child prodigy of Italian football, the striker Francesco Camardawho made his Serie A debut last season at the age of 16 and who scored an avalanche of goals in the Milan youth team.
