Sassari Today is the day of TedxViaCavour, the event which this evening, Thursday 27 June, brings some interventions in front of the audience of the Ex Ma theatre, a new space presented for the first time in the city. Interventions by personalities who, through their stories, fall within the chosen theme, namely “Gabbie”, because, as he says Paulo Coelho «men were born to be free, yet they live in cages that they themselves build. Opening the cage door takes courage, but the freedom found outside is the journey of life.”
TedxViaCavour was born from the initiative of a spontaneous group of entrepreneurs, professionals, teachers and cultural animators, all volunteers. The name is inspired by the central city street (Sassari) where the idea of organizing the event was born.
On the programme, from 8pm to 10.20pm, the monologues of the teacher Liliosa Azara on “Prostitution and the bourgeois family: the hidden exchange”; Don Paolo Pala on “Caged by nothing. The power of an (in)certain way of thinking”; “Caged Without Knowing: How Algorithms Shape Reality” by Gabriel Spanu; “Sit down, we need to talk” by Gianluigi Tiddia; “The pentagram, a cage with horizontal bars” by Michelangelo Lentini and finally “Once there was darkness and now there is me” by Silvia Melis.
