The regional council has approved a new allocation of funds to cover the costs of collective bargaining for regional staff. The established amount amounts to 6.8 million euros and is part of the bill for the budget adjustment for the contractual renewal of the three-year period 2022-2024, involving approximately 650 employees.

The Vice President of the Region, Giulia Zanotelli, expressed great satisfaction with this achievement, underlining the importance of the provision. “We are very pleased to announce the release of the resources necessary for the renewal of collective bargaining – declared Zanotelli – this step represents a strong signal of our commitment towards workers and the recognition of their essential contribution to the good functioning of our administration.”

The allocated resources will allow us to address crucial issues such as improving working conditions, salary adjustments and the implementation of new corporate welfare measures. Zanotelli also highlighted that the renewal of collective bargaining is not just a formal act, but a concrete opportunity to enhance the human capital of the regional organization. “I am convinced that the new agreement will bring tangible benefits both to employees and to the overall efficiency of the services offered to citizens.”

This allocation represents a significant step towards improving the working conditions of regional staff, with positive effects expected both for employees and for the services offered to the community.
