«During my first job I was lucky enough to meet a Bolognese man from Porretta Terme, Vittorio Ferrari, who had moved to our area. We became friends and talking about football he involved me more and more every day in the history of Bologna, its uniqueness and the beauty of the rossoblù colours. From that moment on for me a true love began that I also passed on to my son. At school age he was somewhat attracted by his friends towards Milan or Inter, but seeing my enormous passion at home he too began to become curious. Without having to push too hard, in the end he too became a huge Bologna fan: just think that he had his stag party at the Dall’Ara» said Larghi, explaining the origins of his passionate support for Bologna.
“The club? Now there are about twenty of us, sometimes we meet to watch the games”
He later talked about the birth of the clubwhich occurred in 2016.
«Me, my son and Massimo Mantovani, a friend, we decided to found this club during one of the many trips to Bologna. Now there are about twenty of us and considering the context there are also a lot of us. The real peculiarity is that, apart from the three members of the Ferrari family, the others do not have a family connection with Bologna and the province. It is truly a visceral passion for the team that was born almost by chance. Our official headquarters is the family bar we have in Capolago. Every now and then we meet to watch the games together, it’s wonderful when it happens. We can’t wait to return to Dall’Ara: the last time for me was at the beginning of last season against Milan. Before Covid, my son Matteo, Massimo and I were season ticket holders in Curva. Each time the trips were true acts of love. What if we go back to Bologna? When the championship starts we will organize ourselves for one of the first matches, while with my wife I will make all the European trips».

«What do I think of the rossoblù Ndoye, Freuler and Aebischer? In my opinion Dan is a great player, he was missing the goal and now he has started to score. Remo would be useful to any team both in terms of attitude and quality of play. Michel is a golden boy and I’m happy that he put to rest the rumors that he was a low level player».
Finally, Larghi concludes with a thought for Italy-Switzerland: «For us it’s a very heartfelt derby against Italy. Ours is a brilliant team that has always played very well. Maybe we’re missing a real striker but we also have top-level elements in defence. An incredible shame is the absence of Calafiori: it’s clear that it will favor our national team but I would have liked to see the challenge between our rossoblù. With Bologna we have seen his great qualities for months, we hope that the club can keep him».
