L’AQUILA – “The reorganization project prepared by the Central Directorate of Personnel for the Excise, Customs and Monopolies Agency of Abruzzo worries not only the operators, but the entire territory – as PD Senator Michele Fina writes in a note – for this reason, also urged by administrators and citizens, I have promoted a question to the Minister of Economy and Finance in order to clarify the real intentions of reform of the organizational structure of Abruzzo.
In particular, it is not clear why L’Aquila, the only regional capital of Italy, is being deprived of the UADM management level headquarters: a choice that penalizes the internal areas and causes discomfort to the general efficiency of the regional structure.
Maintaining the only UADM in Pescara means increasing costs and difficulties for operators and taxpayers, as well as transferring all the disputes initially under the jurisdiction of the L’Aquila Tax Commission to Pescara, the only place from which the assessment documents will be issued with the manager’s signature for the whole Region.
I asked the Minister’s attention to this reality which involves around 32 professionals in the city and province of L’Aquila between the Customs Office and the Avezzano SOT. Workers who must be able to work with the same level of functionality as other offices and must not be mortified in their professional career. I will follow the matter with the utmost attention in Parliament and in the area.”
