BUSTO ARSIZIO – Bulldozers in action. In via Ca’ Bianca, where the entire road is being resurfaced in recent days, in the anti-stadium of the ” Speroni ” they have finally work began for the realization of the long-awaited cwide synthetic of Pro Patria, the first among other things to 11 of the City of Busto Arsizio. A project whose roots are lost in the mists of time, dating back to the golden years of Vender familywhen patron Giovanni, mother Luciana (peace be upon her soul) and young Roberto – as true entrepreneurs who were ahead of their times – launched the idea of a Citadel of Sport. The idea, which would probably have changed the future of Pro Patria itself, clashed partly with the typically Italian bureaucracy, partly with a short-sighted vision of a Busto suffering from “fear to fly“, actually never managing to take off.
The promise
From then to now, a lot of water has actually passed under the bridge, and a lot of it, but Pro Patria (with its youth team as well as with the first team) has continued to suffer terribly, paying for the lack of structures suitable for a professional club. And that date has finally arrived, with the bulldozers that – in conjunction with the first market operation of the new Pro Patria 2024/25 edition – have really started the work, laying the foundations for the creation of a camp (hoping for the benevolence of the well-deserving Paglini -ed) in summary, the completion of which – perhaps already for the start of the championship, certainly for the colder months with the risk of rain and snow – will allow tiger cubs to train at home, in Busto, in what has been the city of the glorious Pro Patria et Libertate since 1919.
