NICCOLÒ POSTIGLIONE: “I REMAIN AT MONZA THEY HAVE IMPORTANT PROJECTS FOR ME. I GET HELLO TO ALL THE BLACK AND GREEN PEOPLE” – Il Giornale di Chieti

It is a year full of beautiful things that Niccolò Postiglione is experiencing. The transfer to Monza, a Serie A club, in whose Primavera team he stood out so much that he was followed very carefully by the top management (technical and managerial) of the Brianza club. Then the diploma, administration, finance and marketing, from the Galiani-de Sterlich Technical Institute (just today he took the oral exam). Meanwhile, on the horizon there is a season full of truly interesting prospects. The boy, who turned 19 in April, played the first part of the last championship for Chieti, with many good performances and three goals, some of which were “heavy”, like the one against Tivoli (1-0 on 15 October or another, decisive, in Riccione, 1-2 on November 12th). Then the call from Monza and a painful but inevitable choice that the black-green square understood by showering him with praise and good wishes at the moment of separation

Niccolò, how do you judge this first experience in football that matters?

“I can say that I am satisfied because I was ready immediately, I settled in straight away and we achieved our objective”.

How do you see your future?

“My future projects and goals obviously concern football, imposing myself is the dream I’ve cherished since I was little. Now I have just graduated and it may be that I will start a university course in the faculty of motor sciences”.

Monza confirmed you and we know that Galliani often watched the Primavera matches asking for information on that young central defender who arrived from an Abruzzo team in the D series, Chieti.

“Yes, for this year I’m staying at Monza where they made me feel very important, they believe in me a lot and for this reason they have interesting plans for me.”

The new coach will be Alessandro Nesta, he can be a university professor for those who play in the heart of the defense.

“Alessandro Nesta has always been one of my points of reference. In fact, as soon as I learned that he would be the new coach of Monza, I was very happy.

He will certainly be able to teach me many things about my role, having been one of the strongest defenders in the world.”

Do you still hear any of your Chieti?

“Of course, I hear from many Chieti teammates, especially my teammate Diego Conson who is now more than a teammate but a special friend. He has always been available for me, he was a very important guy in my journey at Chieti and I have to thank him for everything.”

Ultimately, your choice was forced.

“My decision to leave was not due to the fact that things were going badly. I believe that any boy like me who dreams of becoming a top-level footballer would never have refused an offer like that, even though I am a die-hard black-green fan, since until last year I went to the Volpi curve to watch the games. I know that this is a delicate moment for Chieti, I hope that the problems are resolved in the best possible way and I salute all the black-green people”.

Holidays, probably short, where?

“I have a few days available, I will stay in Chieti with my family”. Ideal relaxation.
