University, Bernini: goal of 60 thousand students by 2026

Rome, 26 June. (askanews) -A series of local meetings in some of the main university cities to illustrate to all potential public and private investors the opportunities and new development models of student housing in Italy. This is the objective of the Roadshow which started from Rome and promoted by Cassa Depositi e Prestiti in collaboration with the Ministry of University and Research.

The Minister of University and Research, Anna Maria Bernini, on the sidelines of the inaugural stage of the Roadshow at the CDP headquarters in Rome, said: “We are starting an institutional collaboration with CDP to travel around Italy explaining the call for student residences which the ministry opened with one billion and 200 million available, to explain the methods of participation and support people interested in creating student residences and taking care of their management, to eliminate possible procedural and bureaucratic problems with an extraordinary commissioner that the government has appointed; we have the duty to create as many student residences as possible between now and 2026.
