CREMONA HOSPITAL ASST FIRE FIGHTING: COMPLIANCE WORKS START IN JULY
The objective is to increase the level of safety of patients, operators and visitors in line with current legislation.
Cremona Hospital: from July 2024 they will begin the structural adaptation works of the fire prevention systems and the subdivision of the common access areas in compliance with current legislation.
The work is necessary and the aim is twofold: to increase the security level of patients, operators and visitors and reduce the number of fire brigade members who make up for the structural deficiency by carrying out continuous check patrols.
The overall duration of the construction site is estimated at eighteen months and will progressively involve almost all inpatient departments (temporary transfer), i stairwells they elevator landings. In particular, smoke detection systems and sound alarms will be installed.
To ensure that healthcare activities are carried out safely and in compliance with health and hygiene standards, a building has been set up on the 6th floor. «lung ward» which will host, from time to time and for an average period of approximately five weeks, the structures affected by the works.
In order to reduce the inconvenience for everyone as much as possible, the medical management, in collaboration with the corporate management of socio-health professions and the technical asset management, will coordinate the different phases of the construction site activity.
