Mario found dead at home, postman under house arrest – Il Meridiano News

AVERSA – Tragedy this morning in Aversa, where 55-year-old Mario Motti was found dead in his home, in via Diaz. The man, a postman by profession, was under house arrest with an electronic bracelet.

As reported by Edizione Caserta, it was the mother who raised the alarm when she arrived home, but Mario had already passed away several hours ago, so the help was useless. The police were also on site. Truly a tragedy, the man was the victim of a fatal illness.

The funeral will be held tomorrow at 5pm in the parish of San Michele Arcangelo in Aversa (railway area).

In October 2022, Motti stabbed a man in the stomach and for this he was sentenced to 12 years in the first instance.

It was an argument that broke out for trivial reasons in the area of the premises, in via Seggio. It seems that the postman had taken some french fries from the victim’s table, leading to an altercation and then something more serious. Motti and his rival were in the same place when they started arguing. At the end of the fight, according to what emerged from the investigations of the men from the Aversa police station, Motti took out a knife and stabbed the victim in the belly.
