The Prisciano Committee makes it known that
“This morning, June 26th, Mayor Bandecchi came to inspect the Prisciano district: it was a completely unexpected but very welcome visit.
The Mayor, following up on what was promised at the meeting on 17 June, presented himself in the Terni est district together with the Councilor for Economic Development, Sergio Cardinali, and the Councilor for Sport, Marco Schenardi.
The 3 representatives of the Council were able to verify and experience first-hand what the Committee had described to them in the last meeting held at Palazzo Spada.
Here the Mayor also carried out the “magnet test”, the dust stuck to the magnet without it being placed on the surface.
The mayor thus realized that what was told by the Committee is real and has effectively become aware of the situation that the residents of the area are forced to live through.
The same confirmed that it has taken action with all the bodies involved, also in light of the meeting held yesterday at Palazzo Spada between ARPA, Local Health Authority Umbria 2 and Municipality officials.
He told the residents he met that this “is just the beginning”, and we hope so.”
