For months there have been copious leaks of water from the water pipes in via Aldo Moro, Ragusa on the move urges the municipality to intervene to stem the situation.
In this period there is talk of the serious drought that is raging in the region and therefore water is to be considered a very precious commodity, however it does not seem that in via Aldo Moro in Ragusa they are paying attention to the copious losses of water and the consequent disservice.
To denounce everything Ragusa on the move, led by the president Mario Chiavola, who was contacted by the residents of the area who turned to both the Municipality and Iblea Acque Spa, the company that manages the water service, but with little success.
“Now – explains Mario Chiavola – we know that the Palazzo dell’Aquila body no longer manages the service, given that everything has been delegated to the newly established company. But this does not mean that the administration can wash its hands of it, especially if we are talking about a primary good like water and especially if we are referring to such a delicate period as this. We therefore turn to the mayor and the competent councilor to urge those responsible to verify the situation and request interventions accordingly. It is necessary that water continues to be supplied with a certain regularity and, furthermore, that these copious water losses do not occur which conflict with the need to be parsimonious in the management of the water resource”.
