Catania Football Club and Paternò Calcio have announced that they have reached an agreement for the multi-year development of a collaborative project.
The vice president and managing director Vincenzo Grella explained: “Ivan Mazzamuto is a person who shares our way of understanding football, so we identified Paternò as the right club for a synergy centered on the common sensitivity to the needs of the territory and the kids. Catania will be able to offer a further training opportunity to its young players. In the first three years, the partnership will first of all concern a specific technical platform but also marketing and events”.
The president of Paternò Calcio added: “Being able to count on the managerial track of Rosario Pelligra, Vincenzo Grella and Mark Bresciano, who in just two years have already won, affirmed a management philosophy by laying solid foundations for the future and transmitted it to a prestigious place great confidence in the future, it’s inspiring. We are really proud of this partnership, which links the two companies and the two cities. Paternò, which returned to Serie D thanks to the victory of the national Italian Amateur Cup, will be able to continue to grow benefiting from an important reference model, in parallel with its own footballing traditions and its own identity”.
