VERONA – A 35 year old Albanianhit by a European arrest warrant issued in Belgium for serious crimes – among them criminal conspiracy and murder – was intercepted in Verona by police officers Flying team scaliger. The activity of locating the wanted person was carried out by the International Police Cooperation Service and saw the collaboration of the mobile squads of Verona, Treviso and Brescia and the air border police offices of Treviso and Verona.
The fugitive landed with his family at Trevis airportor where he left in a car that was waiting for him outside the “Canova” airport. Thanks to the images from the cameras and the license plate reading systems, the man was intercepted by the Verona Police.
