Tourism in Bergamo, the Lombardy Region allocates over 3.5 million euros for infrastructure

Bergamo. Tourism is one of the most dynamic and growing sectors globally. Investing resources has never been so essential: it is an economic engine for several countries, but it is also a means of cultural exchange that promotes mutual understanding between the peoples of the world.

Along the lines of this fundamental prospectus, it was approved by the Regional Council, upon proposal of Barbara Mazzalicouncilor for Tourism, Territorial Marketing and Fashion, the scrolling of the tender which is promoted to support and competitiveness of hotel and non-hotel accommodation facilities.

With 24.5 million from the PR FESR 2021-2027 call, mentioned previously, the financial allocation of the measure dedicated to raising the peculiarities of Lombardy’s accommodation offer through investments aimed at increasing the quality of accommodation facilities has thus been redetermined at 54.5 million.

The region has allocated 3.598.856,44 euro to encourage the tourism sector and renew the infrastructures that welcome numerous visitors from all over the world every year and in every season. According to what was declared, these resources will produce total investments in the area amounting to 8.2 million.

More than double the resources have been allocated to the nearby province of Brescia. With 7,934,755.33 euros, it is expected that total investments in the territory of 21 million euros will be produced.

• BRESCIA – 7,934,755.33 euros – Resources that will produce total investments in the territory equal to 21 million
• COMO – 2,191,854.09 euros – Resources that will produce total investments in the territory equal to 6.3 million
• CREMONA – 604,699 euros – Resources that will produce total investments in the territory equal to 1.2 million
• LECCO – 1,708,746.02 euros – Resources that will produce total investments in the area of ​​3.4 million
• MANTOVA – 618,165.27 euros – Resources that will produce total investments in the area equal to 1.2 million
• MILAN – 1,200,000 euros – Resources that will produce total investments in the area equal to 3.6 million
• MONZA BRIANZA – 233,361.65 euros – Resources that will produce total investments in the territory equal to 466 thousand
• PAVIA – 228,980.00 euros – Resources that will produce total investments in the area equal to 457 thousand
• SONDRIO – 6,332,977.82 euros – Resources that will produce total investments in the area equal to 16 million
• VARESE – 300,000.00 euros – Resources that will produce total investments in the area equal to 607 thousand
