The show will be held this evening at 8.00 pm “Flashback to the 80’s” to the Ghirelli Theater in Salerno the show “Flashback to the 80’s”, staged by La Girandola Theater Workshop written and directed by Carolina Damianiwith choreography by Alba Pagano and vocal coach Vincenzo Di Sieno.
From an idea of Icaro Social Cooperative under the Anffas brandin collaboration with the Anffas Foundation of Salerno Giovanni Caressa Onlus, Anffas Salerno Ets – Aps, the show is the final moment that closes the 2023/24 workshop path of “La Compagnia Teatrale La Girandola”, directed by Carolina Damiani, who creates shows together with people with and without disabilities, which over the course of the year allowed the protagonist actors to experience the emotion of the scene, promoting social inclusion.
The show “FLASHBACK TO THE 80’S”, Of Carolina Damianidirector and operator in Social Theatre, supported by a multi-professional team made up of a psychologist, set designer and photographer, was born from the desire to celebrate a period that marked the lives of those who lived it and those who heard about it.
Music, cinema, television, a triumph of memories that come back to life from an old and dusty attic, where Giulia goes to look for an old life jacket and finds a world, that of her mother’s 80s objects. So from a turntable, a cassette player, an old TV, in a dreamlike other time, the fervor, creativity and flavor of an unforgettable period comes back to life. Just like Giulia, the audience will be teleported, as in a well-known film of the period, back to the 1980s.
