“Sanniti Entrepreneurs Together” in the name of the real estate company established last July to allow the purchase of the former headquarters of the Bank of Italy and to use it as the registered office of ANCE and Confindustria Benevento, contains the message that emerges strongly from the industrialists’ assembly Samnites.
A message strongly reiterated by Oreste Vigorito. «At the beginning of my mandate I committed myself to making Confindustria a deeply participatory environment, a place in which anyone who carries out business activities, regardless of size and turnover, can feel welcomed and can bring their contribution of ideas and proposals. Today, with 352 registered companies representing almost 2 billion in turnover and around 9,000 employees, we can say that we have put an important piece in one of the most difficult challenges, that of STAYING TOGETHER by making the elements of union prevail over the divisive ones. It is thanks to STAYING TOGETHER, first of all with our sister company ANCE, the branch of Confindustria which represents construction companies, that it was possible to continue the investment in the headquarters and obtain important results not only in the infrastructure sector, with the impressive public works under construction, but also in the extractive sector”.
The President of Ance Benevento Mario Ferraro is of the same opinion: «This is my last meeting as President of Ance Benevento and I am really happy with the results achieved in recent years. Today we have a representation of companies that has doubled compared to 2017 and a healthy balance sheet which shows the investments made by ANCE to finally have its own headquarters. The choice of the presidential council to accept the appeal of president Vigorito to STAY TOGETHER was a winning one, it did not mortify, but on the contrary it enhanced the construction component not only within Confindustria, but also above all externally. Today ANCE Benevento has its own clear IDENTITY vis-à-vis the institutions, foreign stakeholders and its autonomous representation which has nothing to do with the organizational choices aimed at facilitating first of all the construction companies, who with a single registration have access to a dual system of representation”.
Over 150 participants in a private meeting, reserved for members only (the public moment with the institutions will be celebrated on July 11th with the Imprese Stellari initiative), during which the President of Confindustria Benevento Oreste Vigorito and the President of ANCE Benevento Mario Ferraro, respectively also President and Vice President of the Board of Directors of Entrepreneurs Sanniti Insieme, reported on the activities carried out and illustrated the results achieved.
Of note:
- the joint commitment in favor of YOUNG PEOPLE which made it possible to reach over 3,000 students, bringing them into companies, presenting company activities and entering the bodies intended for dual training as happened with the ITS and IEFP;
- the funding obtained from the MISE for the Sannio Innovative Tourism and Sustainable project, with 10 million euros allocated to 16 private initiatives and 4 public initiatives;
- the registration of the Sannio Da Gustare brand, granted to products made in Sannio with raw materials of Samnite or Italian origin. Today 8 companies and 32 product references are participating;
- support and consultancy initiatives both towards companies and contracting authorities on the new Procurement Code, with a training course divided into several days of itinerant study;
- the social commitment which has translated into scholarships for deserving students and projects aimed at the employment of prisoners.
The economic data for both Confindustria and ANCE were positive, with their respective balance sheets closing in the black. The ISI budget was also approved, for which the members were informed about the investment and the progress of the works.
