Almost three years after taking over the Provincial Command of the Carabinieri of Cuneo, Colonel Giuseppe Carubia he will hand over command to go to Turin, where from September he will go to direct the Cernaia Barracks, Turin Carabinieri Student School.
The announcement this morning, Wednesday 26 June, on the occasion of the celebration for the 250th anniversary of the foundation of the Guardia di Finanza. The provincial commander of the Guardia di Finanza, Col. Mario Palumbo thanked him for his precious collaboration.
A 48-year-old from Agrigento, he had come to Granda from Catanzaro, where for three years he had been the Commander of the Carabinieri Operations Department.
Colonel Carubia attended regular courses at the Military Academy of Modena and has a degree in law. He therefore remains in Piedmont where, between 2008 and 2011, he commanded the Turin San Carlo Carabinieri Company, responsible for the central area of the Piedmontese capital. Before Catanzaro he was employed at the General Headquarters of the Carabinieri, within the “Organized Crime” and “International Cooperation” offices, and held the additional positions at the territorial organization of Commander of the Aversa Operations Unit ( CE) and the companies of Frosinone and Paternò (CT).
