CAMPOBASSO – Order of precautionary measure in prison by the Carabinieri of Campobasso issued by the criminal section of the Court against a 40 years old resident in the city at the request of the Public Prosecutor’s Office of the Court.
“The provision adopted by the Judicial Authority – underlines a note from the Carabinieri of the Provincial Command of Campobasso – constitutes the aggravation of previous personal precautionary measures – ban on approach, ban on residence in the municipality of Campobasso and house arrest – ordered against from the
woman, accused of the crimes of stalking, threats and sexual violence, which proved insufficient to stem her repeated harassing conduct towards a peer and her family, co-tenants of the same building, as well as her outrageous procedural behavior.
The strengthening of the Carabinieri’s control activities, through the implementation of dynamic surveillance measures to prevent the risk of commission of crimes relating to gender or domestic violence and for the protection and support of victims of such crimes, also ordered following the recent regulatory change with the introduction of the so-called “reinforced red code”, have allowed the collection of a voluminous evidentiary documentation that has found the Judicial Authority in agreement on the need to replace the previous custodial garrison with the
more afflictive measure than custody in prison.
The woman, at the end of the ritual formalities, was transferred to the women’s section of the Benevento district house at the disposal of the competent judicial authority”.
