It is important to highlight that the additive manufacturing sector is experiencing a real boom and Italy – among the Top 10 for the number of patent filings for additive solutions and second in the EU for industrial installations – confirms itself as a market with very high potential for its development. With these premises, PiùAdditive can only be, both on the national and international scene, a fundamental event, of great value and attraction.”
The offering on display will present a rich proposal of machines, materials, products, solutions for testing and post-processing, software and services related to additive manufacturing, whose presence is increasingly widespread in all the main manufacturing sectors – including aerospace, transport, biomedical, oil & gas, pharma, food and many others.
Furthermore, at the AITA stand, the fulcrum of the exhibition area, showcases will be set up with objects made with additive technologies, illustrating the potential and progress of the sector, and numerous events will be organised, including speeches, by companies, universities, centers research, European projects, inherent to their latest solutions and more institutional conferences, focused on the future evolutions of the sector.
“To offer a complete visit experience and to encourage business opportunities among the players present in the pavilions – stated Alfredo Mariotti, general director of UCIMU-SISTEMI PER PRODURRE – the AITA stand, as has become tradition, will combine the exhibition size that of networking and cultural in-depth analysis through the organization of a busy calendar of meetings focused on additive technologies. The program is still being defined but, among the events already confirmed there are the conference dedicated to 10 years of AITA activity, the round table “Women in 3D printing” and a meeting dedicated to biomedical.”
While waiting for next October, sector operators had the opportunity to participate in aggregation and discussion events dedicated to them. The last event, in chronological order, is “Additive Manufacturing for sustainability”, which was held on 25 June at the Trentino Sviluppo headquarters (Rovereto).
