Students from Barletta in Lignano Sabbiadoro for “YounG7 for Education”

The students Elisa Morisco and Elena Dicuonzo (3B Artistic High School,) Nicola Piccolo (3C Artistic High School), Alessandro Impagnatiello (4C Liceo Artistico) accompanied by the teacher Federica Rizzoin conjunction with the Meeting of Education Ministers of the G7 countries, will take part in the national initiative “YounG7 for Education – Future School ” which will be held in Lignano Sabbiadoro from the 26 to the June 30, 2024 and which includes training workshops for students and teachers, coming from a representation of Italian schools and G7 countries.

The training courses for students and accompanying teachers are characterized by simulations of the negotiation processes that take place at a national and international level, with the use of innovative teaching methodologies and digital technologies, where all participants can learn and experience the rules of the policy- making, diplomacy and negotiation. The planned activities also include innovative educational actions in the fields of art inspired by the G7 themes on education.

The students and the teacher will have the opportunity to learn innovative tools and methodologies, in line with the provisions of the PNRR Education – Investment 2.1, working in heterogeneous working groups, both by origin and by school address, to present their own ideas and solutions before representatives of institutions, international organizations and civil society.

The director Antonio Francesco Diviccaro is convinced that this is a further step towards the active participation of students in collective decision-making processes, the object of the systemic planning of the institute within the framework of the “Wannà – Festival of young politics”.
