Barletta, 15-year-old missing since June 23: the Prefecture activates the search

After leaving at 5.30pm on Sunday 23 June, she should have returned home by 11pm but did not. Lucia Rizzi, a 15-year-old from Barletta, has not been heard from for almost two days now. Her parents launched an appeal on social media and local TV, asking for help, as well as reporting the disappearance of the minor to the police.

The last contact with her mother dates back to 10.57pm on Sunday, when the girl said she was reading the letter left under her pillow. “In the letter you say you are pregnant and want to raise the child,” her mother revealed today in a television interview. The 15-year-old, therefore, according to her parents, would have voluntarily left in the company of an older boy who she had been seeing for some time. The couple was seen near a bus stop.

At the time of her disappearance Lucia was wearing “denim shorts, a white short-sleeved shirt, white gym shoes and a white handbag”, writes the mother in the post published on Facebook.

Meanwhile, the Prefecture of Barletta-Andria-Trani has activated the provincial plan for the search for missing persons. Anyone with useful information can contact number 3287237184 or contact the police.
