After a series of interventions it is It is useful to take stock of the situation on the water network in Corigliano-Rossano. In the past week they have significant inconveniences were recorded in the Rossano port, southern districts and related seaside locations. For the former, checks are underway at the springs and at the Fornelli network, the main source of supply in the area, after having already intervened on the Simonetti plant.
For the latter in the next few days the new Momena water system will be activated, created by the Administration in recent months, which will serve the seaside resorts and the relaunch of Petraro. Tomorrow, Wednesday 26 June, for extraordinary maintenance interventions, there may be inconveniences in the regular water supply in the Momena area. With a view to strengthening the supply of the historic centres, the purification of the Bosco dell’Acqua springs and the construction of a new plant serving the Cona-Pantasima are already planned, as well as moving forward on the path of districtisation of the territory, i.e. the network optimization making each area autonomous.
The Enel blackout that stopped the Santa Lucia plants was just one of many that continue to occur in the city, a sign of a network suffering due to consumption. The works underway along many streets of the city, agreed between Enel and the Administration, which will be followed by the resurfacing of the road surface, are instrumental in avoiding these blackouts in the future.
