After two literary, musical and theatrical marathons highly successful organized in December and May by the Coordination of Writers and Publishers of Faenza and the Unione Faentina, in collaboration with the Casa della Musica and the Solaroli Theater Company and after the presentation made with the singer-songwriter Martin Chieffoat the thanksgiving event “Flood, one year later, thank you” the MEI – Meeting of Independent Labels is collecting songs on the themes of the flood, to publish a compilation.
The release is scheduled for September, just before the next edition of the MEI which will be held from 4 to 6 October in Faenza.
The opening track will be your own Mossy Earth Of Martin Chieffoto which the songs of Isabella Del Fagio, Claudio Toschi, Antonella Donatini, Luti Chroma, Aga, Leandro Pallozziall artists based between Bologna and Rimini.
The MEI also wants to combine a music album with the creation of a mural.
All artists and bands who have songs on the theme of the flood and want to send them to the MEI can do so by writing to the email [email protected], attaching the song in MP3 or link, with bio and photo of the artist, lyrics of the song and anything else necessary.
The goal is to produce a further testimony document which adds to all the other cultural productions created.
