Double concert in the Province of Varese by the group founded by the drummer and composer Stefano Bagnoli as part of the JAZZaltro Giovani and New Generation festivals

Double (and close) appointment with the jazz of We Kids Quintet: the formation led by the drummer and composer Stefano Bagnoli and completed by four young talents from the Italian scene (Giuseppe Vitale at the piano, Stefano Zambon on the double bass and the twins Matteo And Giovanni Cutello on trumpet and sax respectively) will perform Wednesday 3 July to Gemonio, in the province of Varese (Floriano Bodini Civic Museum, via Marsala 11, 9pm)and the next day, Thursday 4 Julyto Busto Arsizio (Va)at Villa Ottolini (via Alessandro Volta 4, 9pm; in case of bad weather, the event will be held in Sala Pro Busto).

The two concerts, both free admission with free donation, are part of the exhibitions JAZZaltro Youth And New Generation, organized by Abeat Records and Area 101 and created with the support of MiC and SIAE as part of the program “For Those Who Create”designed to launch and enhance Under 35 artists. Just as Stefano Bagnoli, great master of the percussive arts and known in the world of jazz with the nickname of “The Brushman” for his skill in using brushes.

In the project We Kids Quintet, in fact, the founder of the group puts himself at the service, so to speak, of musicians much younger than him with excellent results: the stylistic maturity and notable technical skills of Giuseppe Vitale, Stefano Zambon, Matteo and Giovanni Cutello leave you breathless, while Bagnoli’s mastery acts as a sure center of gravity in the execution of pieces that combine tradition, modernity and dynamism. In 2020, the quintet released a self-titled record on the label Abeat Records which received flattering reviews from specialized critics.
