The Fratelli d’Italia city club intervenes on the political-administrative crisis of the majority that supports the Mayor of Modica Maria Monisteri. A crisis that apparently is there for all to see as we had already announced in our article (read here)

It’s not a mystery – we read in the note from Marco Nani’, citizen coordinator of Fratelli d’Italia – cthat the political honeymoon between the municipal administration and the majority that supports it is over, or perhaps, it would be better to say, that it never began. The crisis, already known, manifested itself clearly in the pages of the newspapers with the outburst of councilor Ruffino and, in the last City Council, with various discontent on the part of councilors Armenia and Civello, the latter even resigning as President of the 4 commission.

These facts prove – continues the note from Giorgia Meloni’s party – that the political project of the current municipal administration is not the result of “civism”, or, as they wanted voters to believe, the aggregation of civic lists made up of hard-working citizens who are sensitive to the problems of the city. This majority has very clear political connotations and the serious internal struggles and internal clashes are aimed exclusively at maintaining positions and balances for the management of power, not at administrative choices aimed at the good of the City.

If some city councilors truly believe – concludes the note from Fratelli d’Italia – that the inertia of the current Municipal Administration and Mayor Monisteri is such that it does not even guarantee essential services, they should go further and promote a motion of no confidence in the mayor’s office in the municipal council. We have the reasonable certainty that, in compliance with the maintenance of political balance, positions and powers, they will not dare to act in this sense. Who benefits from all this? Certainly not the city!
