full hotels and tourist impact on the city”

“Vis Pesaro? produces wealth and our sponsors are realizing it.” This was stated by the company’s marketing manager Guerrino Amadori who reels off the numbers of the success of the recent “Vis Cup”, the youth football tournament which filled the hotels and attracted tourists from Italy and abroad: “The event was a success also thanks to the commitment of the president Bosco, the manager Falghera and all the collaborators”. The event, explains Amadori, “was in its first edition and was noted as one of the most successful international youth football tournaments, also thanks to the patronage of the Municipality and the attractiveness of Pesaro, the 2024 capital of Italian culture. 56 teams participated, almost all from northern and central Italy, also from San Marino and Switzerland, divided into categories which, starting from under 8s, went up to under 17s”. A number also appreciated by the city’s hoteliers and restaurants: “We recorded 700 overnight stays in Pesaro and some extended their stay. Around 1400 people gravitated around the tournament who probably would not have arrived without the Vis event. Another important aspect is that several districts were involved. The matches were in fact played at the Benelli Stadium and at the Benelli supplementary stadium, but also at the Villa San Martino sports field, in the Muraglia sports field, at the VF Academy Madonna di Loreto sports field and in the Usav one every sports facility has been guaranteed catering service”. And the club is already working for the future when, says Amadori, “we will also be able to host the matches at the V Park of Villa Fastiggi. They awarded the athletes Massimo Ambrosini, and the Vis players Manuel Pucciarelli and Blue Mamona. It was an event which has produced benefits for everyone and entrepreneurs can count on our image. Those who love us should follow us.”
