When the polls closed for the second round of the municipal elections, 54.77% of those entitled to vote voted for the run-offs in the Marche region.

The municipalities that went to the ballot are Urbino, Recanati and Osimo. In Urbino 68.45% of those entitled to vote voted; in Recanati 50.37% and in Osimo 52.36% of voters voted.
For now the only name to come out of the polls is that of Emanuele Pepanew mayor of Recanati.
All that is missing is the official status but it was a rather clear victory for the centre-right candidate with 57.89% of the preferences, compared to 42.10% for Antonio Bravi. These are the percentages out of approximately 10,000 voters, 1,000 less than two weeks ago
The center-left pays a heavy price for the decision to break up the Bravi-Fiordomo duo and then appear together again in the run-off.

Center-right also victorious Urbinoafter 15 sections out of 20 scrutinized, the outgoing centre-right mayor is clearly ahead Maurizio Gambini with 51.57% (FREE TO CHANGE – FORZA ITALIA – EPP-BROTHERS OF ITALIA-LEAGUE-UNION – URBINO CITTA’ IDEALE).
The challenger Federico Scaramucci is currently at 48.43% (DEMOCRATIC PARTY – URBINO COMMON GOOD – FUTURA – ALLIANCE OF THE GREENS AND THE LEFT-PSI – URBINO IS REBORN – LEFT FOR URBINO – 5 STAR MOVEMENT – URBINO CITY OF EUROPE-+EUROPA- CIVIC).

The municipality of is still in the balance Osimo. After 12 sections scrutinized out of 33 it is neck and neck between Michela Glorio and Francesco Pirani. But Pirani from the centre-right would have the advantage.
