The bad weather which is affecting the Centre-North with rain and thunderstorms has also hit the Marche Today. Particularly affected is the Macerata area, where they have been recorded so far 101mm in Pian di Pieca, 67mm in Tolentino, 59mm in Sant’Angelo in Pontano. Heavy rain also in the provinces of Pesaro and Urbino, with 81mm fallen on Monte Nerone, 59mm in Sant’Angelo in Vado, 58mm in Frontinus, 53mm in Piobbico, while in the Fermo area they are recorded 55mm to Amandola.

The heavy rains created some inconveniences flooding in the Macerata area, in particular a Tolentino. Municipality workers intervened to drain excess water from the streets in via Colombo, viale Bruno Buozzi, on the Mancinella bridge and in various districts. The situation with the decrease in rain is returning to normal. Furthermore, an oak tree fell in the Bura area. The Fire Brigade carried out around fifteen interventions in the Tolentino area with: fortunately there were no evacuations of homes in the area hit by the storm.
