A extramarital affair which dates back just under thirty years ago, began in the 1980s and ended in the last decade and ended up in court in recent weeks, for the accusation of extortion brought by an eighty-three-year-old engineer against two women: the first is a 59 year oldthe ex-lover, the second e their daughternow 25 years old, who actually is he had never recognized.

The professional, whose details have not been disclosed, is well known throughout the world and lives in the Milan area. The 59-year-old is a woman originally from Southern Italy but resident in Rimini, the same city where his twenty-five year old daughter was born, who however today he lives in Australia. The reason for the dispute is controversial: it seems established that he paid considerable sums in favor of the two women, only that they maintain that the money transferred was the result of the benevolence of the 83 year oldhe instead succeeded in his aim of bringing them to trial after having reported them with a very serious accusationthat of having extorted the money from him under threat: to reveal the clandestine affair to his wife.
The women threatened revelations to the old man’s wife
The two women are in fact charged with extortion and the final sentence should arrive in the next few months. The man’s complaint against his ex-lover and his wife daughter born in 1999 dates back to 2020. He told the investigators that he had periodically paid sums of money for years, explaining that he had acted to protect his marriage with another woman from the revelations that the 59 year old and the 25 year old they would have done if the “deal” had not been respected. This agreement would have provided, according to the engineer’s version, payments to provide support of the young woman’s ex-lover.
The defense: «He felt guilty for not recognizing her»
The defence of the two accused entrusted to the lawyers Piero Venturi and Miniutti (the ex-lover) and Mauro Sandri and Mario Barberini (the daughter) is however already written. «According to our clients – she explains the lawyer Venturi – the sums of money would have been paid occasionally. And for a reason: the engineer, who had not recognized his daughter, he would have felt guilty for this choice of his and would have tried to make amends by guaranteeing them minimal economic support.”

But that is not all. The 59 year old and the 25 year old are determined to demonstrate that the professional’s wife is aware of his extramarital affairs and also of his “secret” daughter and therefore, even if they wanted to, they would never have been able to extort money to him with that excuse. «Moreover – continues Venturi – he actually claims to have cut ties with the two women years ago but there are proven chats and conversations that prove the opposite. And they prove that the relationship lasted for nearly 40 years until recently. Finally, as regards the payments made, they are very few those that are traced and proven”.

The man is instead convinced of be able to prove the oppositeor that the payments he had been forced to make through blackmail would have been numerous and would have been been made for decadesfrom the end of the last century until 2020, the year in which he denounced them.
