ALESSANDRIA – “Passage of the bell” and entry of four new members in Lions Club Alessandria Host which, in the new financial year 2024/25, will celebrate the 70th anniversary.
The current president, Alan Vicinowill give way to Virginia Violawhich was elected by the members’ assembly and will officially take office on July 1st.
Satisfaction also for the new members, three of whom come from the Alessandria Leo Club: Judith Cantello, Marco Morando And Luca Siri. The fourth is Edward Bunoneex Leo, already a member of the LC Genova Host who moved to Piedmont and asked to join the LC Alessandria Host.

Lions, a rich year
During the evening, President Vicino presented the report of a year of activity. Which ended last Saturday with the inauguration of the two Inclusive Playgrounds that the Lions donated to the city of Alexandria. Thanks also to the fundamental intervention of the Lions International Foundation. That has doubled the amount of 46 thousand euros collected by the Alessandria clubs and thanked by the Cra Foundation.
The two parks are inside the public gardens of Viale della Repubblica and Parco Oreste Villa, in the Pista district. The idea was born from a project by the past president of LC Alessandria Host, Marcello Canestriwhich involved the Lions clubs of Alessandria and was created over two years of intense Lions activity.
