From 28 to 30 June in Darsena foodtruck with gourmet street food, beers, music and street artists. The Street Food Festival arrives in Fiumicino
This is ‘FoodStock’, from 28 to 30 June in Viale Traiano Darsena space. A careful selection of street chefs will celebrate the most popular dishes of the Italian tradition, including culinary proposals with particular emphasis on the excellence of the territory and the Lazio region, but there will be no shortage of tastings with an international flavour. 10 food trucks will be present: ‘Pizza Pig’, ‘Stracotteria’, ‘Baciata Romana & pulled pork’, ‘El Brachurros Mexican Street Food’, ‘Boomer Truck’, ‘Er Supplì d’Alari’, ‘La Bodeguita’, ‘Cargo ‘, ‘Gnoccheria’, ‘Cocoloco’.
An open-air location overlooking the sea, with music and ten Gourmet Chefs on board colorful food trucks will offer dishes with rich and intense flavours. Roman white pizza with mortazza, Roman pinsa kissed wood-fired sandwiches, supplì in all its variations from the classic to cacio e pepe. Homage also to pasta, starting with gnocchi. It ranges from Roman cuisine to wild boar, Chianina, Fassona, Cinta Senese burgers up to smoked variations of pulled pork, empanadas and American Tex-Mex sandwiches. Still on the ‘fat’ theme, here is the sheep and pork stew and hand-cut kebabs. And also fried foods, mozzarella in carrozza, cod fillets, courgette flowers and fried calamari, excellences to pair with beers and cocktails. Three days of street food village, with musical entertainment and street artists who will cheer the public present on one of the most beautiful locations on the Roman coast to be spent in the name of conviviality and taste, for an event open to families and with free entry.
