The University of Parma in Ireland at Research Week

Over 100 researchers from the EU GREEN community alliance met in recent days at the Atlantic Technological University of Sligo (Ireland) for the second edition of the Research week, BRIDGING GAPS: advance collaboration in research and education.

For the University of Parma, the Pro-Rector for Research and Technology Transfer Daniele Del Rio, the Delegate for Coordination of EUGREEN Work Packages Marco Bartoli, researchers actively engaged in the EU GREEN research Commission, in the research clusters and in the PhD participated. council and an officer from the international research support unit.

The alliance’s research commission was updated on the progress of the activities of the research clusters and the projects financed last year through EU GREEN seed funding, the mobility of researchers between allied locations, the dynamics of the numerous courses blended activated in just one year of work, to the shared projects presented and in progress, and to the first steps of the PhD council, on the complex issues of doctoral schools, double degrees and joint supervision.

The new call for Work Package 3 EU GREEN was also presented (led by the University of Angers, co-led by the University of Parma and dedicated to the structuring of research collaboration between the universities of the alliance), which will support various initiatives aimed to increase mutual knowledge, cohesion, mobility of EU GREEN researchers and participation in European calls.

The University of Parma has applied to host the third edition of the Research week in 2025: an important opportunity to fuel and support interactions with allied universities, further root EU GREEN research in the University and promote the many growth opportunities that an alliance between European universities facilitates
