Gymnastics: the gymnasts from Monza and Brianza at the absolutes

There Gymnastics Federation has issued the list with i gymnasts admitted to the Italian Championships scheduled from 5 to 7 July at the Cuneo Palasport. 37 athletes were included in the men’s sector and 38 in the women’s sector. For all the selected athletes, the overall championships represent an authentic exam in which the best ones will obtain the coupons that guarantee the participation in the Olympics of Paris (26 July – 11 August).

For this tricolor event the Federation has included, among others, two gymnasts from the men’s list Pro Carate (Yumin Abbadini and Diego Vazzola), one of the Sampietrina Seveso (Pietro Mazzola) and, in the female one, Alexia Angelini (Gal Lissone), Martina Maggio from Villasanta (Gs. Gold Flames) and the Monza area Rebecca Aiello who has been living there for a few months Gymnastics Riccione Academy and, at the beginning of June at the Palaindoor in Padua, he took first place in the general Champions Cup competition.

Objective of Abbadini is to get on the first step of the podium as happened in the 2022 championship. This season, the eclectic gymnast registered with the Pro Carate in the European Championships in Rimini he won two bronze medals, one in the general competition (the last one before him was won in 1990 by Yuri Chechi) and the other with the blue team completed by Lorenzo Casali, Matteo Levantesi, Marco Lodadio, Mario Macchiati and Salvatore Maresca. Abbadini, with other Italian gymnasts, has been called up to the Fermo collegiate which ends on Friday 28 June.

TO Wedgein conjunction with the absolutes, will be held Youth criterium of female artistic competition to which students from the A4 and A3 categories were admitted and placed among the top twenty in their respective categories of the 2024 Gold individual championships. In the A3 category (gymnasts born in 2013) they will take to the stage Vittoria Ronchi and Beatrice Boracchi (Casati Arcore) And Aurora Pullano (Sampietrina Seveso).
