Summer full of cultural events at the “Rocco Polimeni” tennis club in Pentimele in Reggio Calabria. Through the commitment put in place by the management of the Club, which turns 95 this year, the Incontriamoci Semper ODV association wants to celebrate the longest-running club in Calabria in the best possible way. Below is the complete program of “Calabria D’Autore Summer 2024″.
The first initiative which took place last June 9th, which saw the participation of the excellent singer-songwriter Fabio Macagnino, met with notable success in terms of appreciation and participation. The next cultural initiative, scheduled for Sunday 7 July with the literary masterpiece “The Choice and Bompiani”, edited by the journalist Sigfrido Ranucci, with him will be the journalist Daniele Macheda, secretary of Usigrai and from Reggio Emilia. Welcoming him were greetings from the president of the club, the lawyer Ezio Privitera, the entrepreneur Pippo Callipo and Nuccio Macheda, Head of Gom Reggio Calabria. Marco Mauro will open the evening. Another important event, Sunday 4 August with the history and art of goldsmithing of Magna Graecia, with the participation of prof. Daniele Castrizio, the master goldsmith, Michele Affidato and the goldsmith sculptor, Antonio Affidato.
Another important appointment, Sunday 18 August with the excellent sociologist Fulvio D’Ascola who heralds a crackling evening full of memories, with the book by the late Ernesto Assante by Lucio Battisti, through the re-presentation of Battisti’s emotions on the giant screen. Finally, on Saturday 7 September, the XVII edition of the Simpatia della Calabria Award.
