Today the extraordinary commissioner Gandolfo Miserendinoafter evaluating the various curricula received at the conclusion of the expression of interest announced on June 4th, proceeded to appoint the Dr. Domenico Minniti as medical director. The governance body, on which the President of the Region and commissioner ad acta, Roberto Occhiutois aiming to bring order to the healthcare system in Calabria, completes its strategic direction by thus placing another very important piece in the path traced, since his inauguration, by the extraordinary commissioner Miserendino.
Biography
Native of Naples but raised in Calabriaprecisely a Reggio Calabria63 years old, Domenico Minniti, an anesthesiologist-resuscitator, thanks to his vast expertise in the field of Emergency-Urgency, has gained various important professional experiences in the healthcare institutions of our Region.
Miserendino’s words
“The appointment of the health director is part of the structuring process implemented to give substance to the institution – declared the extraordinary commissioner Miserendino -, and represents another important stage in its organizational process. I am sure that, with the arrival of Minniti, Azienda Zero will be able to count on valid professionalism which, due to its profound knowledge of the Calabrian healthcare system, will represent an added value for the action that the organization is called upon to carry out”.
