On Saturday 22 June 2024 in the premises of the “Al Rinascimento” restaurant the social lunch of Avulls was held, a historic voluntary association, founded by Don Giacomo Luzietti, which operates in some hospital departments of the Policlinico, Cannizzaro, Garibaldi, San Marco and Catania RSAs, offering support, a word of comfort and a smile, in collaboration with the activities organized by the Catania hospitals and RSAs
The new positions of the three-year period 24-27, President Maria Rosaria Luca and Vice President Tiziana Micalizzi welcomed the participants with a buffet, organized by the cultural manager Pina Fiorito, with the collaboration of Mrs. Cinzia Giacone and Alberto Pesce.
A moment of conviviality and joy which saw the participation of the well-known Catanian actor and great supporter of Avulls Gianni Sineri who, remembering the local and family theatrical tradition, wanted to renew his contribution to this solid reality of the third sector of Catania, made up of men and women, who with courage and determination give a few hours of their time to the sick in hospital, to charity in the critical neighborhoods of Catania, also giving themselves the joy of feeling “important” and part of a society, which today is in crisis by a ruthless individualism
