CNA Alto Adige Südtirol is also participating this year in MINIBZ-Children’s City, the large role-playing game organized at the end of the school term by the VKE, capable of attracting up to 900 children a day for two weeks.

On Friday 21 June, the president of CNA Trentino Alto Adige, Claudio Corrarati, visited MINIBZwhere he met the newly elected mayor Costanza, to whom he presented the Crafts Award, created by a master glassmaker. «A recognition that we give to the City of Boys – said President Corrarati – because this initiative for the little ones represents the essence of creativity and industriousness, which are the winning characteristics of our artisans.»

In the 2024 edition, the CNA, with the support of EBA-BKH Bilateral Body for Crafts, has entered the game mechanism to all intents and purposes, as a specialized office for “CreaImpresa” in close collaboration with the Licensing Office and Economic Activities of the Municipality of MINIBZ.

Children who want to start a business are directed towards the trade association which, in a playful way, develops a business plan, helps them develop the business idea, verifies its feasibility and provides elements of business culture through a game developed together with CNA Service experts. Immediately afterwards, the children are taught about workplace safety through four games created by ECIPA, CNA’s training body: electrical risk, mechanical risk, chemical risk and falling from a height.

Once they have passed the final tests, the aspiring entrepreneurs go to the Municipality of MINIBZ to obtain the “license” and a loan with which to start their entrepreneurial activity inside MINBZ, in a special space intended for start-ups. In the first week, 9 companies were launched, including 5 in the gaming sector, a florist, a wellness centre, a beauty center and an advertising agency.

The interaction between CNA and the other activities of the City of Children has made it possible to develop useful partnerships, in particular on safety courses for all the “workers” of the various stands. Of note is the agreement with Trenitalia and the Taxi Service to have all train staff and aspiring MINIBZ taxi drivers follow the safety course. Furthermore, the collaboration with the Italian Union of the Blind and Visually Impaired was positive, as it chose the CNA stand to hold an educational meeting aimed at all children.
