“Some very significant writings and drawings appeared at the former Mosorrofa sports field, which we attach. Beyond the writings that may or may not be shared, what matters is the reality that the author or authors want to signify. The total absence of play spaces for children in the hamlets of Mosorrofa and Sala di Mosorrofa, despite places suitable for the purpose available to the municipality, are unequivocally already present”. This was stated in a note Mosorrofa Neighborhood Committee.

“The Neighborhood Committee and the entire Mosorrofana and Sala community have been incessantly asking for action in this regard for years now. An intervention that has been announced and promised several times but never implemented. While recognizing that defacing walls is never beautiful, in this case it can be defined as art. First: the drawings and writings did not deface anything since there was nothing to ruin in that place, nature and the absence of the municipality had already taken care of it. Second: it is a singular and creative way of making the voice of those who have no voice heard, of conveying to the institutions the need of a community, of children, who have been waiting for too long for a solution to their needs”.

“We ask Mayor Falcomatà, who we see inaugurating something every day on social media and in the media, to remember that Mosorrofa and Sala di Mosorrofa are also part of the municipality of RC, that the children of Mosorrofa and Sala di Mosorrofa also have the right to a joyful childhood. We thank the authors or the author of the “works of art” and hope that they serve to awaken the feelings of the authorities in charge”.
