FOSSOMBRONE – Another bloody weekend, another centaur from the Marche lost his life in the late afternoon today on the provincial road leading to Urbino. The accident occurred in Calmazzo di Fossombrone: the 54-year-old motorcyclist from Urbino (initials FN) riding a Yamaha collided head-on with a Punto driven by a woman resident in Fossombrone.

The man was thrown from the two-wheeler and ended up first against a light pole and then on the ground: his condition immediately appeared very serious, so much so that when the rescuers arrived his heart stopped. The medics requested the intervention of the air ambulance while they desperately tried to resuscitate him, they tried for over twenty minutes, but unfortunately there was nothing to be done. At the scene of the tragedy on 118, the municipal police and firefighters of Pesaro.

Last Saturday, June 15, was marred by two other terrible deaths: a few hours later, two very young boys died on motorbikes, Emiliano Pimpanini from Canavaccio di Urbino and Davide Paolini from Arcevia.
