«Culture driving growth for the territory»

CIVITAVECCHIA – On Tuesday evening, for the third consecutive year, Unindustria will host the five finalists of the Campiello Prize in Civitavecchia, in the splendid setting of the historic garden

In the audience there will be over 300 guests, representatives of the world of industry, culture and institutions, as well as many literature enthusiasts who wanted to participate in this extraordinary event. The evening, hosted by Gino Saladini, is made possible thanks to the synergy with Confindustria Veneto and the Campiello Foundation, in collaboration with the Port Authority of Civitavecchia, with the patronage of the Municipality of Civitavecchia and the Cassa di Risparmio di Civitavecchia Foundation.

«My thanks go to all those, bodies and institutions, who made all this possible – underlined Cristiano Dionisi, president of Unindustria Civitavecchia – having brought Campiello to our city is a source of pride and satisfaction. The Campiello Prize is one of the main literary awards in Italy and was able to be ahead of its time because it was not easy 60 years ago to think of such a close synergy between culture and the business system. Thanks to the industrialists of the Veneto who were able to make it truly prestigious over the years. Unindustria believes strongly in the promotion of culture and tourism as drivers for the growth of the entire territory and, as this occasion demonstrates, continues to invest in high-level events.”

Furthermore, the event has the support of the associated companies of the Unindustria Civitavecchia headquarters and the partnership of some important national entities. Some cultural realities of the city also contributed to the organization of the evening, such as the Book Faces Association, the Pro Loco of Civitavecchia, the Fidapa Civitavecchia and as volunteers many students from the city’s high schools together with their teachers.
